May I introduce you all to s. 121A of our Penal Code

Offences against the President’s person.
121A. Whoever compasses, imagines, invents, devises, or intends the death of or hurt to or imprisonment or restraint of the President, shall be punished with death or with imprisonment for life and shall, if he is not sentenced to death, also be liable to fine.

Then you can try appealing to Pung Pung and he will increase your punishment by sentencing you to death... again.

Other men feel liberated

By no means a big Elton fan, but he does have his moments. Songs From the West Coast was rather good. Original Sin (the one starring Mandy Moore in the video) is also a favorite from that album. This one is just solid piano with good lyrics. Yeah. I'm better at analyzing chart positions than actually talking about the songs. This one peaked in the top 10 in the UK if I'm not wrong, although I don't think it molested the Hot 100. Still, doesn't detract from its quality.

As we have seen (or should I say, as we are seeing), being numero uno isn't an indicator of quality. Yes Touch My Body, I'm looking at you.

It scares me how little time there is before (1) exams and (2) the end of year one. It's all so fleeting and ephemeral. I don't know if things will ever quite be the same again, once we leave the (relative) innocence and ease of being freshmen behind. But now is not the time for nostalgia.

I hope to spend time with all my friends (not like I have a lot la but you know) over the long-ish break. And spend some time with myself. Till then, sleep is for the weak.
