I think I've earned that at the very least, after almost 10 years. It was real close. TI's Whatever You Like was greatest gainer in sales and is #1 in airplay (the Hot 100 is basically a composite chart of sales and airplay), and TI ft. RiRi's Live Your Life was greatest airplay gainer and #2 in sales, but Womanizer sold enough to squeak to #1 even though airplay currently ranks at #40 something (that's a whole other story there). And it even set 3 records along the way 1) Highest first week digital sales for a female artist ever (besting Touch My Body by a few hundred copies, although that was released over a period of 7 days to Womanizer's 6); 2) Biggest jump to #1 on the Hot 100; and 3) Biggest jump on the Hot 100. Smokin'!

Interestingly (to me anyway), one year ago Gimme More was #6 having spent 2 weeks at #3 after being released digitally, five years ago Me Against The Music ft. Madonna entered at #50 (eventually peaking at #35 - this was in the pre-digital era) and ten years ago, well, Baby One More time was released.

Speaking of Madonna, well, its sad. I've been listening to her new single 'Miles Away' recently and it couldn't have been released at a more appropriate time.
