Eat Sleep Shop And Be Merry

Basically what Jin and I did today. After what was an eternity of mindless net surfing and fighting to stay awake, we threw in the towel, left CLT lecture during the break, and went... to the student lounge thinking we could use the brand new Guitar Heros but seeing that we had to sign it out and there was no one in the Law Club room, we made ourselves at home on the sofas and slept. And I woke up not too long after but Jin slept. And slept. Until CLT was over and some people came in wanting to play Guitar Heros and were confronted with this... figure... grey hood over his face, half sitting half lying like a corpse. They were debating how best to rouse him from his slumber but well, I came in just at that moment and did the honors.

Having fulfilled our Z quotient, we headed down to town intending to gym but got sidetracked in Muji Paragon, missing Body Pump and being confronted by the usual crowds that throng Cali Orchard on a weekday night. 'Ok fuck it.' We went to the Cathay instead for Aston's but the queue was crazy and we ended up at the 99 cent sushi place in the basement... GUYS THE SAME ONE AS IN NOVENA! But Novena's portions somehow seem bigger and fresher, with more diverse selections, probably because its in Inland Revenue House or something. Still, *cue refrain* 'it's only 99 cents!'

I told you so moment of the day.

*Simon trying to balance one plate of sushi in one hand and another 2, one stacked on the other, in the other hand*
Jin: Hey, are you sure you want to do that, you might drop them.
Simon: No I won't.
*Proceeds to walk back to table and while walking down a slope, sushi on top of the other starts to get displaced, and in a poor attempt at balancing, ends up dropping both the Unagi and the Salmon sushi on the floor*

*Simon walks back to Jin who is still at the belt deciding what he wants and very much unaware of what has happened*
Simon: Get me what I just ordered.

Haha. I really should know better. But yeah my day was just, very normal and yet in that normalcy is something very meaningful.
